Keate House Residential Home, Lymm, has been shortlisted in three categories in the Great British Care Awards.

The 54-bed independent care home in Brookfield Road is in the running for the Care Employer Award, the Care Team Award and the Chef/Cook Award in the prestigious national competition.

The purpose of the Great British Care Awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work and recognise excellence and achievement within the care sector across the UK. The award ceremony takes place on Saturday, November 12 at The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester.

Care Manager Diane Clarkson said “To reach the final in three categories is an amazing tribute to the management and staff within the home as throughout recent times everyone has given so much to protect and care for their residents in the face of unprecedented challenges. We are thrilled to be attending the final and will be keeping our fingers crossed when the winners are announced.”
