Keate House Care home in Lymm hosts vibrant Pride event

Keate House Care Home in Lymm organised the event, which featured singers aged 17 to 99, entertaining residents and staff.


A garden marquee adorned in bright colours provided the backdrop for the day, where residents waved rainbow flags and danced.


Family members joined in, contributing to the inclusive atmosphere.


Staff also participated, performing karaoke, while guests were entertained by a dancing leprechaun, a groovy shark, and a colourful unicorn.


Residents prepared a fresh fruit punch, which was enjoyed by all attendees.


The care home emphasised that the Pride event was more than just a celebration; it was a reflection of its dedication to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.


Described as a "spectacular" celebration, the occasion was filled with music, laughter, and "heartfelt" moments, capturing the essence of Pride.
