Keate House worker Cameron Rowe wins Great British Care Awards

A Lymm care home is celebrating after a big win at the Great British Care Awards.

Keate House Residential Home was recognised in the ceremony with Cameron Rowe winning at the ceremony in Manchester last weekend. Over the evening, members of staff at the home, received four nominations in the Great British Care Awards. And incredibly, in the Ancillary Worker category of the awards, it was Cameron Rowe from Keate House who was recognised for his efforts.


The Ancillary Worker award recognizes individuals who play a vital role in supporting the care team and ensuring the smooth operation of the care home.


Cameron first joined Keate House as a Care Assistant in 2017. After completing an AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting, Cameron became the home’s Account Manager.


The Registered Care Manager at Keate House, Diane Clarkson, said: "Cameron’s ability to go above and beyond is truly remarkable. His creativity, compassion, and commitment to residents have left an indelible mark on our home. What sets Cameron apart is not only his professional acumen but also his extraordinary efforts to create a warm and engaging environment for the residents. Stepping beyond the confines of his office, Cameron has embraced roles ranging from Father Christmas to the Grinch, and even the persona of Keate House's own drag queen, 'Maddy Cation.’”

Cameron's win reflects his exceptional contribution to the holistic well-being of residents and the uplifting atmosphere he creates within the Keate House team.
